APSMS - The Advanced Pain Management System is based upon Microsoft's .NET Technology. The WinChart APSMS (Acute Pain Service Management System) offers the acute pain specialists a simple point of care data entry solution for the evaluation and recording of pain service information.
Data collection is performed at the patient bedside using a Pocket PC. The PDA client is written using the latest .NET compact framework technologies. The collected data is synchronized with a server using standards compliant web services to a SQL database. Connectivity to SQL compliant databases makes the system ideal for stand alone or enterprise wide deployment.

The system is maintained via a central PC that collates and downloads information to a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant (Windows Pocket PC ©)). Following the pain services assessment, the PDA can be synchronized with the PC application via a network infrared or USB connection for fast and reliable data transfer.

Customization is the systems key strength, users have the freedom to design the data entry layout of almost all of the PDA fields. Making it an deal research tool for application outside of the pain service as well.

ARMS (Available soon - Fall 2004) - The Advanced Research Management System is a complete form-based data collection system optimized for the PocketPC and TabletPC environment. Patient data is collected using a PocketPC, Tablet or Desktop Worstation and is synchronized to a SQL database server using standards compliant web services.

ARMS is a very flexible system that allows the user to extend the system and design new forms very easily. Collected data, past edits, and deletions are automatically archived to provide a complete audit trail.
